WORKSHOPS
Making and crafting can give people a chance to escape, laugh and find community in a way nothing else does. I will be hosting weekly workshops for a variety of projects including quilting, felt crafts, paper cards and other family-friendly options. Workshops will bring together the experienced and inexperience, the young and the grey. I hope participants find meaningful connections and continue to build relationships outside of the walls of the store. Customers will have a variety of ways to participate in workshops – a monthly club, project specific classes and special occasions. In addition, we plan to use our space as a meeting location for other crafters can use for workshops, like painting, florals, pottery, etc. We want our space to be inviting and a location community members feel like they can celebrate life occasions with soda fountain drinks and a room for meeting – think baby showers, birthday parties, wedding showers, etc.

We hope this allows people from all over NW Kansas and beyond the opportunity to purchase unique fabric bundles, patterns and project kits from our online store. Enjoy shopping here, but also make sure to follow us on social media to be the first to know about new products, events and more. Shipping will happen once a week at the beginning and include fabric bundles, patters and project kits.
REFRESHMENTS
A refreshing community – both mentally and physically. As shoppers wander among the wares and makers create, our soda fountain provides a break in the day and an opportunity to slow down and appreciate the space and each other. Other business owners and patrons are welcomed in to make a connection over a cup of soda. Don’t know anything about sewing? That’s ok! We want our building to be welcoming to all who enter and we want everyone to have a reason to experience the magic of connection.
JANOME SEWING MACHINES
Sewers need sewing machines and we're the most excited to offer you just that - a place in your backyard to try out machines, shop and have a place to service the most important thing in sewing - sewing machines! I’ve done extensive research on brands and have landed on Janome for their metal interior and price point. Someone is able to get an affordable sewing machine if they are just starting or a more advanced embroidery machine when they're ready.
PRODUCTS
LA Quilt Co is a one-stop-shop for all of a shoppers creative needs. We carry a large assortment of fabrics such as Moda, Anderson, Cloud 9, Ruby Star, Fabalism and others. The store is stocked with patterns and kits from well known designers in the industry. We have a section of the store specifically for notions - scissors, ribbon, cutting mats, thread, buttons, zippers, thimbles, etc. We have wide back fabrics and minky so customers will be able to buy every item they need for a quilt at our store. Additionally, we have supplies for different kinds of crafting, like card making, clothing repair and others. We have a small assortment of LA Quilt Co branded items for shoppers to purchase, drinks from the soda fountain and books from the loft. There are products for all kinds of kinds.
LONG ARM QUILTING
LA Quilt Co is the one stop shop for quilts from the very beginning to the finished product. We offer all over and custom long arm quilting. For prices and inquires, send us an email or give us a call!
RETREATS
Through our partnership with Farmhouse on Center, a local air bnb and meeting space, we are able to host quilting guilds and scrapbooking groups from all over. You'll be able to stay at the partnership air bnb, and craft or sew in our space.
